Seventeen to embark on world tour with stops in Seoul, Canada and U.S.
Pledis Entertainment announced that boy band Seventeen will embark on a world tour and released dates of the concerts in Seoul, Canada and the U.S. on its official social media pages on Tuesday.
"Seventeen World Tour [Be The Sun]" will kick off in Seoul with two concerts on June 25 and 26 then continue to Vancouver and Toronto in Canada, and Seattle, Oakland, Los Angeles, Houston, Fort Worth, Chicago, Washington DC., Atlanta, Newark and Belmont Park in the United States until September. From November to December, Seventeen will continue its tour in Asia where they are slated to hold six concerts in Japan. Details including exact dates of concerts in Asia have yet to be released.
The upcoming tour is the band's third world tour after "Ode To You" which was held over two years ago.
The announcement of Seventeen's world tour comes ahead of the release of the band's 4th full-length album "Face the Sun." It is slated to drop on May 27. The album will include Seventeen's first English track titled "Darl+ling."
Pre-orders of "Face the Sun" exceeded 1.74 million copies as of May 3, already confirming its status as a million-seller. All of Seventeen’s albums and EPs since September 2019 have become million-sellers.
Seventeen debuted in 2015 with the EP "17 Carat." Seventeen is a 13-member multinational boy band best known for "Adore U" (2015), "Don't Wanna Cry" (2017) and "Ready to Love" (2021). It consists of members S.coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon, Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, Seungkwan, Hoshi, Jun, The8 and Dino.
