Blockberry Creative denied rumors that Chuu of girl group Loona was departing from the agency.

On Thursday, the agency released a press release stating that such allegations were “groundless” as “some articles confused fans and the public by using quotes from so-called officials though neither the agency nor [Chuu] has said anything about the issue.”

It added that it will take legal actions against writers of articles and comments with false information or malicious rumors for defamation.

There have been rumors circulating that Chuu is preparing to transfer agencies and that she is currently in a legal fight with Blockberry Creative.

The rumors continued when it was revealed that Chuu will be unable to perform on Loona’s world tour set for later this year, due to her solo schedules.
