Chuu of Loona on Monday denied her agency's claims that she verbally abused staff members.

"I have not been contacted or informed about the recent events so I am still figuring out what is going on," wrote Chuu on her Instagram story. "One thing that I am sure about is that I have never done anything that would embarrass my fans."

On Friday, Loona's agency Blockberry Creative announced via a statement that Chuu, whose real name is Kim Ji-woo, will be expelled from the girl group. It added that Chuu had been verbally abusive and misusing her power [gapjil in Korean] against the staff."

Chuu said that she will make another statement after she organizes her thoughts and stance on the issue.

"Thank you for everyone who worried about me and trusted me."

The singer was embroiled in legal disputes with the agency since early this year. In March, a court ruled that her exclusive contract should be provisionally suspended.

Chuu debuted as one of 12 members of the girl group Loona in 2017 and has seen great success in television and advertisement appearances.
