High Up Entertainment announced Tuesday that girl group STAYC will be touring six cities in the United States as part of the upcoming KCON event.

“Together with Cravity, Lightsum and TO1, STAYC has been selected as the ‘KCON 2022 Rookies,’ therefore, will tour six different cities in the U.S,” the label said in a statement.

The concert kicks off in San Francisco on Aug. 23, moving on to Minneapolis on Aug. 25, Houston on Aug. 27, Dallas on Aug. 28, Atlanta on Aug. 30 and finally wrapping up in New York on Sept. 1.

In March, CJ ENM announced that its annual K-culture festival KCON will be back this year after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

STAYC is a six-member girl group that debuted in November 2020. The group consists of members Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon and J. It debuted with the song "So Bad" (2020) and has since released hits "ASAP" (2021) and "Stereotype" (2021).

The girl group has established itself as a popular fourth-generation K-pop group as it was also chosen as one of five notable artists for 2022 by Apple Music and Shazam and NME's 100 Emerging Artists of 2022 in January.
