IZ*ONE, a disbanded project girl group [MNET]

Disbanded girl group IZ*ONE’s TikTok account has been hacked.

As of Wednesday, it looks like all the video content of the girl group has either been deleted or switched to private. The account has about 1.1 million followers.

The TikTok account was one of the few places IZ*ONE fans could go to check out the group's past activities. The hacker, revealed to be accessing the channel from Germany, changed the account name from @officializone_ to @overthinkeroriginal. There are only three videos as of Wednesday morning on the channel. The videos have nothing to do with the girl group.

Fans began leaving comments and posting videos demanding the hacker return IZ*ONE’s account. The hacker responded by posting a survey, asking if they really want it back, angering fans further.

IZ*ONE is a project K-pop girl group formed through the third season of Mnet’s audition program “Produce” series in 2018. It disbanded last April.
