Boy band ATBO, a septet formed under IST Entertainment, will debut on July 27, the agency said Friday.

IST Entertainment is home to popular K-pop acts like Apink and The Boyz.

The band will release the EP "The Beginning" the same day.

ATBO consists of members Oh Jun-seok, Ryu Jun-min, Bae Hyun-jun, Seok Rak-won, Jeong Seung-hwan, Kim Yeon-kyu and Won Bin. The band was formed through contestants on MBN's survival audition program “The Origin - A, B, Or What?” last May.

ATBO means "'At the Beginning of Originality,' a name that captures the team’s ambition to unfold a new and original story," IST Entertainment previously said. "Using the keywords 'light,' 'darkness' and 'color,' the band will convey its own messages through a creative concept."
