Intercontinental Seoul Coex
Through August 31: Buffet restaurant The Brasserie located on the ground floor of InterContinental Seoul Coex in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, announced that it will host “Cool Summer Festa." Seafood Boil, an American-style seafood dish, is one of the main menus that is being served during the festival.
Seafood Boil is a steamed dish made with a generous portion of various seafood, including octopus, lobster, snow crab, cuttlefish, shrimp, top shell and scallop, which boasts an exotic rich flavor with the chef’s personally-made seasoning. During the promotion period, seafood pancake, shell fish fotiaoqiang soup (thick soup that is eaten in China's Fujian Province), eel temaki, seafood rosé gnocchi, and various other seafood dishes from Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Western cuisines will be available. There will also be bite-size dishes presented by chefs.
Guests can select from five types of sommelier-picked wines and craft beer, which are offered in unlimited quantity. The wines include two types of red wine and two of white wine, and a type of sparkling wine. The wine selection section at the entrance offers a hotel-made complimentary jute bag for customers who purchase wine worth 100,000 won ($76) or more during the promotion period.
The Brasserie’s “Cool Summer Festa” is available for two months, until Aug. 31 for 95,000 won for weekday lunch and 115,000 won for weekends and dinner service. A 10 percent reduced rate is applicable for reservations made via Naver. The unlimited alcoholic beverage option is available for an additional 25,000 won. Tax and service charges are included.
