Girl group Blackpink's "Kill This Love" surpassed 600 million streams on Spotify, according to the group's agency YG Entertainment on Monday.

The record comes 10 months after the song passed the 500 million mark in September.

According to YG, Blackpink is the only female K-pop act to have more than 600 million streams on the platform.

Its other song "How You Like That" (2020) also surpassed 600 million streams earlier this year.

"How You Like That" is a lead track from the group's full-length album "The Album." Selling over 1.4 million copies, "The Album" was the first million-selling album by a K-pop girl group. It also debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and the British Official Chart for albums. It received awards such as the MTV Video Music Award for the Best Song of the Summer in 2020 and the Golden Disc Award for songs in 2021.

“Kill This Love” is the title track of the group's EP of the same. It was released in April 2019 and debuted at No. 41 on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart. It was awarded the People's Choice Award for Favorite Music Video in 2019 and the iHeartRadio Music Award for Favorite Music Video Choreography in 2020.

Blackpink debuted in 2016 with its first single “Square One” and has released hit tracks including “Playing with Fire” (2016), “Forever Young” (2018), and “Lovesick Girls” (2020).

The group will return to the K-pop scene with music in August. The exact date of comeback has not yet been specified.
