Former IZ*ONE member Choi Ye-na will make her solo comeback next month, according to her agency Yuehua Entertainment on Monday.

She is set to release her second EP "Smart Phone" on August 3.

The poster and motion clip of the EP's logo, which were revealed on the official social media page of the agency, hint at a cheery and sweet concept.

The new music comes seven months after her previous EP “ˣ‿ˣ (SMiLEY)," which marked her debut as a solo artist.

The EP's title track "Smiley (feat. Bibi) landed at No. 1 on local music streaming platforms Bugs and Melon.

Choi debuted in 2018 through IZ*ONE, a group comprised of 12 winners of Mnet’s hit audition program “Produce 48.” IZ*ONE disbanded in April last year when its contract concluded.
