Ex-GFriend member Yerin to hold fan meet on Aug. 19

Yerin, an ex-member of disbanded girl group GFriend, is holding an in-person fan meet and greet on Aug. 19, fan community platform Universe said Friday.
Titled “Happy Yerin Day,” the event celebrates Yerin’s birthday. Anyone can apply to attend the event on the Universe app and 100 will be selected.
Applications will remain open until Aug. 10. Winners will be announced on Aug. 12 at 2 p.m.
Yerin made her solo debut with the EP “Aria” last May. Before that, she was a member of GFriend, which debuted in 2015. The group of six — Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB and Umji — was successful with songs like “Me Gustas Tu” (2015), “Rough” (2016), “Navillera” (2016) and “Fingertip” (2017).
