Singer Kim Jae-joong will return to the music scene next month with a full-length album, according to his agency C-Jes Entertainment Thursday.

가수 김재중이 오는 9월 새 정규 앨범 발매를 할 예정이라고 씨제스 엔터테인먼트가 밝혔다.

“It’s been about six years since Kim last released an album,” the agency said. “So the singer tried to input a variety of music, especially for this album. After the release, Kim will tour Asia to actively pursue his activities as a singer globally.”

“약 6년 만에 발매되는 정규 앨범인 만큼 더욱 다채로운 음악을 담아냈다. 정규 앨범 발매와 함께 아시아 투어 콘서트를 개최하여 가수로서 국내외 활발한 활동을 보여줄 것”이라고 예고했다.

Kim’s last release was in 2016 with his second album “NO.X,” which highlighted his capabilities as a singer as it covered a broad musical spectrum such as hard rock, funk and ballads.

그의 마지막 앨범은 2016년에 발매된 정규 2집 ‘녹스’로 하드록, 펑크, 발라드 등 다양한 장르를 통해 그의 넓은 음악적 스펙트럼을 강조하였다.

Kim's Asia tour will include stops in Seoul, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok from Sept. 17 to Oct. 8.

그는 9월 17일부터 10월 8일까지 아시아 투어 콘서트를 개최해 서울, 쿠알라룸푸르, 방콕을 방문할 예정이다.

Kim debuted in 2003 as a member of boy band TVXQ. After he left TVXQ with members Kim Junsu and Park Yoo-chun, the three formed boy band JYJ.

김재중은 2003년 동방신기 멤버로 데뷔했다. 이어 그룹 멤버 김준수, 박유천과 함께 동방신기를 떠나 그룹 JYJ를 결성했다.

Kim is also active as a solo singer and actor, known for his roles in the SBS series “Protect the Boss" (2011), MBC’s “Dr. Jin” (2012) and KBS’s "Manhole" (2017).

그는 또한 솔로 가수와 배우로도 활발히 활동중이며, 드라마 시리즈 SBS의 “보스를 지켜라” (2011), MBC의 “닥터 진” (2012) 그리고 KBS의 “맨홀” (2017)의 주연으로 활약했다.
