Kim Min-ju of IZ*ONE signs with acting agency Management Soop

Singer-turned-actor Kim Min-ju, former member of project girl group IZ*ONE, signed a contract with actor management agency Management Soop.

“The agency signed with Kim,” Management Soop said Thursday. “We are happy to support Kim’s beginning as an actor. […] We are seeing great potential for Kim, who continuously challenges herself instead of residing in her present. Her potential and capability as an actor is endless, and we will fully support her so that she can demonstrate her best abilities.”

Kim was a member of a project girl group IZ*ONE from October 2018 to April 2021, which was formed through cable channel Mnet’s 2018 K-pop female survival show “Produce 48.” She was recently cast for upcoming MBC drama series “The Forbidden Marriage” set to air on MBC sometime later this year.

Management Soop represents actors such as Gong Yoo, Kong Hyo-jin, Kim Jae-wook, Seo Hyun-jin, Lee Chun-hee, Jeon Do-yeon, Jung Yu-mi, Nam Ji-hyun, Bae Suzy, Choi Woo-sik, Nam Joo-hyuk and Jung Ga-ram.
