SM Entertainment’s fan community “Kwangya Club” began its service on Sept. 1.

SM Entertainment announced Friday that members of the Kwangya Club’s beta service, which has been available since July, can now use the official service after updating the application. Several new features have been added to the official service, including the Lounge, where artists and fans can chat together. A live broadcast feature will also be introduced in the near future.

Kwangya Club is a membership-based fan community. The service offers two types of memberships: The Basic membership is free of charge and users can subscribe to the service anytime, while the Ace membership is a paid service that accepts members on an annual basis.

The Kwangya Club will replace SM Entertainment’s previous fan community app Lysn.

Starting with Kwangya Club, the agency plans to expand the Kwangya brand by establishing a metaverse country called “Music Nation SMTown,” where it will “present a variety of futuristic businesses such as granting users digital citizenship within the country,” SM said in a statement.
