The first mini album from a new subunit of boy band Shinhwa, one of the longest running Korean pop bands which debuted in 1998, will be released on Dec. 6.

The subunit, called WDJ, will consist of Shinhwa members Lee Min-woo, Kim Dong-wan and Jun Jin, according to the three members’ label Liveworks Company.

The mini album will be titled “Come To Life,” and one track from the album, “Tomorrow,” will be pre-released on Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. on music streaming sites.

WDJ also plans to hold a year-end concert on Dec. 30 and 31 at Jamsil Arena in southern Seoul.

The six-member band Shinwha, whose members are now all in their early 40s, had its ups and downs, but is the only K-pop boy band that has survived 24 years without any changes in band members. Shinhwa debuted in 1998 with its full-length album "Resolver."
