Korea records 70,324 new cases of Covid-19 Wednesday

Korea recorded 70,324 new cases of Covid-19 Wednesday, down by about 2,500 from the previous day but up more than 3,700 from the same day a week before, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
The number of critically ill patients was 477, remaining in the 400 level for the fifth day in a row. There were 53 deaths.
The accumulative total of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Korea stands at 26,725,053.
