Blackpink Jisoo's music video to have biggest budget ever for the girl group

The first solo music video for Blackpink's Jisoo is being made "with the largest budget ever for a Blackpink video," according to the singer's agency YG Entertainment.

"We are shooting all of Jisoo's music video overseas," the agency said, adding that her "solo debut is not far away" but refraining from revealing any other information such as the release date or concept of her new music.

Jisoo has been working on the album in between Blackpink's ongoing world tour schedule with "special care and affection" on the singer's part, according to YG Entertainment.

Blackpink is currently on its "Born Pink" world tour, through which the band will meet 1.5 million fans around the world. The four-member girl group performed in seven cities in the North American region and seven cities in Europe last year and began the Asian leg of its tour last month.

The band is also set to headline the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in April and the Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival in July.
