Girl group Mamamoo’s subunit Mamamoo Plus is preparing for a new release, agency RBW confirmed with local media on Tuesday.

Further details, including the release date and the title of the upcoming lead track, will be announced at a later date, the agency said.

The subunit, consisting of two Mamamoo members Solar and Moon Byul, began its activities in August 2022 with its first single, “Better.”

Mamamoo most recently released its 12th EP “Mic On” in October 2022 with the lead track “Illella.” The girl group embarked on its first world tour, “My Con,” shortly after in November 2022, kicking off at the Olympic Hall in Songpa District, southern Seoul, and visiting Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.
