NCT Dream will release an English version of its lead track “Beatbox” on March 21, the boy band's agency SM Entertainment said on Tuesday.

The track will first be performed on the European and North American leg of its world tour, “The Dream Show2: In a Dream,” starting on March 28.

“Beatbox,” first released as the lead track of the band’s repackaged second full-length album of the same name in May 2022, is an old-school hip-hop-themed dance track with beatbox beats.

“The [English] single will also feature the hopeful messages of NCT Dream announcing that they will release tracks that only they can do,” said the press release.

NCT Dream debuted in 2016 as a subunit of the boy band NCT with its song "Chewing Gum." The band is best known for songs including "My First and Last" (2017), "Boom" (2019), "Hello Future" (2021), “Glitch Mode” (2022) and “Candy” (2022). Their latest Korean EP “Candy” sold over 1.5 million copies in the first week of its release, making it the ninth most-sold album in Korea within the first week of release.

The boy band started its second world tour in Seoul on Sept. 8 last year, before moving on to Japan, Indonesia and Thailand. It will continue the tour with concerts in Hong Kong on March 24 and 25, followed by the European leg of the tour which will begin in London on March 28.
