Chef Jeremy Chan of London's two-Michelin-starred restaurant Ikoyi will be bringing his food to Louis Vuitton Maison Seoul in Gangnam District starting Thursday.

Ikoyi at Louis Vuitton is a pop-up store, part of the French luxury house's series of dining collaborations where it invites world-class chefs to its flagship store, Maison Seoul.

To convey its signature dining experience in its entirety, Ikoyi will be bringing its entire team from London to Seoul for the duration of the pop-up.

Ikoyi at Louis Vuitton promises a "culture-meets-culture" dining experience with a unique iteration of Korean cuisine incorporating fresh Korean produce. Its lunch course offered from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. includes fatty tuna toast and mushroom aioli; and hanwoo (Korean beef), green goddess and crispy chili. The dinner course runs from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and additional dishes such as tartlet of jogi jeot (salted yellow croaker) brandade, spring namul (seasoned greens) and yeasted bearnaise; and cod, doenjang (fermented soybean paste) beurre blanc, roasted white kombu.

Ending off the course is vanilla, deodeok (the root of a Korea mountain herb), cinnamon and wild rice ice cream and Korean seasonal fruits with a dash of chili sugar, Mexican-style.

There is also a tasting menu offered between lunch and dinner, from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., which includes five dishes: sugar-cured shrimp and black olive rice; grilled web-food octopus, and asparagus and baked sweet potato; roasted cep, salted caramel and candied peach choux; allspice madeleines; and seasonal Korean fruit.

The interior has been designed to reflect Louis Vuitton's philosophy, the Art of Travel, with meticulously designed walls and ceilings covered with wooden curves.

Guests of the upcoming pop-up will also be able to see the newest pieces from Louis Vuitton's Objets Nomades, a collection of travel-inspired furniture and objects made in collaboration with internationally renowned designers such as India Mahdavi, Marcel Wanders studio, Patricia Urquiola, Campana Brothers and Atelier Oi. The newer pieces that are installed in the pop-up were showcased to the public for the first time during the Milan Furniture Fair last month.

One of the pieces that particularly stands out in the venue is Atelier Oi's "Quetzal," a large decorative mobile inspired by the eye-catching plumage of South American quetzals. They hang from the ceilings of Maison Seoul, adding a colorful and elegant touch to the woody interior.

Lunch is 250,000 won ($187), the tasting course is 100,000 won and dinner is 350,000 won.
