Suga from BTS landed at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with his first official solo album “D-DAY.”

“D-DAY,” Suga’s first full-length solo album released on April 21, made it to the second highest spot on Billboard's main albums chart in the upcoming update made for the week of May 6.

The achievement is also the highest ever for a solo K-pop artist, a tie with “FACE” by member Jimin, which also landed at No. 2 with his first official solo album last month.

Suga’s lead track “Haegeum” landed at No. 58 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, the fourth track released by Suga to land on the chart.

“D-DAY” was also the most sold album of the week with 122,000 physical album sales, topping Billboard’s Top Album Sales, Top Current Album, World Album Chart and more. The album saw a total of 140,000 equivalent album unit sales, which are comprised of physical album sales and other digital records.

Fellow member Jimin’s solo album “FACE” landed at No. 70 on the main chart with its lead track “Like Crazy” landing at No. 97 on the Hot 100 for five consecutive weeks.

Suga kicked off his first world tour, “SUGA | Agust D-DAY TOUR” on April 26 with performances in Belmont Park, New York. The tour will be held in multiple cities around the United States, followed by stops in Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Korea and Japan.
