The surviving family members of Korean independence fighter Choi Jae-hyung attend the joint reburial of Choi and his wife Elena Petrovna Choi at Seoul National Cemetery in Dongjak District, western Seoul, on Monday. While the remains of Elena Petrovna Choi have been repatriated from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, only the soil from where Choi was likely executed in Ussuriysk, Russia, was buried. The remains of Choi, who was executed on Apr. 7, 1920, by the Imperial Japanese Army, have never been recovered. [YONHAP]
