Flavors, serving a diverse menu of dishes celebrating the natural flavors of every natural ingredient at seven live stations including salad, soup, seafood, grill and dessert, sets the standard for buffet dining in Seoul. The Korean section serves grilled eel, prepared according to the hotel’s own secret recipe, the Chinese section features eel with black bean sauce and Peking duck, and the Japanese selection includes sea bass with chodoenjang sauce (a type of fermented soybean paste) and croaker sashimi. Further highlights include dishes crafted from premium ingredients such as halibut, abalone, and pine mushrooms, mains showcasing handpicked seasonal ingredients, and dishes made from summer peaches. There are also luxury desserts including mango cake.

Japanese restaurant Tamayura, home to authentic sushi, kaiseki and teppanyaki dining, presents the Unagi Ozen menu, crafted from nourishing ingredients to reawaken the palate and restore lost energy in the summer heat. Unagi Ozen features freshwater eel served in a reviving summer full-spread dining experience. Unagi, meaning freshwater eel, is the star ingredient, handpicked and delivered directly from the waters of Gochang. Accompanying dishes include Umaki, Japanese-style rolled omelet, and Hone Senbei, eel bones coated in Tamayura’s own secret sauce and deep-fried. Also on the menu are two varieties of premium grilled eel, accompanied by pot-steamed rice with ginger, the finest natural complement to eel. Gochang eel grilled with salt and marinated in sweet-savory soy-based tare sauce present a perfect nourishing option in the draining summer heat.

(Announcement) Andaz Seoul Gangnam unveiled the Andaz stAIk Sandwich, a new addition to its menu crafted with the assistance of AI technology. This innovation marks the hotel's pioneering introduction of an AI Chef Grill Robot, known as Andi, to execute the chef's culinary techniques with precision.

The Andaz stAIk Sandwich boasts a tantalizing combination of a juicy U.S. Prime beef sirloin steak atop crispy whole-grain bread, enhanced with caramelized onions and sun-dried tomatoes. The menu's name reflects the incorporation of AI, heightening the anticipation of placing an order. Priced at 38,000 won ($28) for the sandwich alone, the set, which includes Berry Soft Ice Cream and a choice of Coffee or Tea, is available for 45,000 won. This delectable creation can be savored at Bites & Wine on the hotel's second floor, and reservations can be conveniently made via phone. Andaz Seoul Gangnam is poised to unveil a diverse range of menus, all enhanced by the AI Chef Grill Robot, beginning with the Andaz stAIk Sandwich.

The AI Chef Grill Robot represents a significant culinary advancement, utilizing AI learning to faithfully replicate the chef's cooking methods. While these cooking robots have previously found application in various settings, including corporate cafeterias and restaurants, their debut within the hotel industry occurs with this introduction. Executive Chef Damien Selme, formerly from a Michelin-starred restaurant, ensures the flawless execution of the Maillard reaction and moisture retention in his expertly prepared steaks, employing advanced molecular sensors. This guarantees the consistent reproduction of the chef's unique recipe. Furthermore, the robot's presence in the open kitchen not only offers visual entertainment by enabling guests to observe the cooking process firsthand but also amplifies the appeal of savoring exceptional tastes and high-quality cuisine.

"Customers have shown remarkable enthusiasm for experiencing the culinary creations of renowned chefs at a consistent level of quality through the application of AI technology," a spokesperson from Andaz Seoul Gangnam said. "Moving forward, we are committed to delivering even more innovative and diverse experiences to our customers."
