Samsung companies begin recruiting experienced foreign hires

Three Samsung companies started accepting applications from foreigners who wish to work for their research and development divisions.
 
Samsung Electronics' Device eXperience (DX) and Device Solutions (DS) divisions, Samsung Display and Samsung SDI will accept applications for their R&D divisions between Monday and Sept. 8.
 
Applicants must be non-Korean nationals eligible to acquire a visa to work in Korea. The companies all require a minimum level 3 on the Test of Proficiency in Korean exam (Topik).
 
They will give preference to candidates with work experience of two years or more after acquiring a bachelor's degree.
 
This is the first time Samsung companies have created a recruitment track for experienced foreign hires.
 
The DX division is looking for software engineers who can help with display module development, and the DS division is hiring those who can develop universal verification method-based simulation technologies.
 
Samsung Display is looking for those who can help develop module materials and conduct research about its panel manufacturing process.
 
Samsung SDI is recruiting for its battery development divisions, including cells, packs and modules.
