Blackpink’s Jennie will drop a special single, “You & Me,” on Friday, amid ongoing contract renewal discussions between the singer and her agency.

Jennie has been performing different versions of the unreleased solo track in multiple performances, including at the Coachella and BST Hyde Park music festivals earlier this year, since unveiling it in a solo performance during the girl group’s “Born Pink” world tour in 2022

“We have decided to officially release ‘You & Me’ for the fans who have been following the group’s ‘Born Pink’ world tour,” YG Entertainment said in a statement Wednesday.

The teaser poster released Wednesday showed Jennie in a red dress, posing in front of a full moon, reminiscent of the stage background during the world tour.

Jennie dropped her first solo album, “Solo,” in November 2018.
