Cometh the BUFF

A U.S. B-52 strategic bomber flies over the Peninsula on Tuesday alongside Korean Air Force F-35A fighter jets. The B-52 landed on the Korean Peninsula for the first time when it touched down at Cheongju International Airport. The B-52 — commonly nicknamed the BUFF, or "Big Ugly Fat Fellow" — flew over Seoul as it took part in Korea’s biggest arms fair ADEX, which officially started on Tuesday at Seoul Air Base in Seongnam, Gyeonggi.
