K-pop heads to London with celebration of Korea at Wembley Arena

A concert marking the 140th anniversary of the British and Korean relations will take place in Wembley Arena, London on Nov. 8 at 7 p.m., local time.
 
The concert titled “Korea On Stage in London,” hosted by the Cultural Heritage Administration, will hold performances and special programs related to Korea.
 
This will be the fourth "Korea on Stage" concert, since 2020 at the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon, Gyeonggi. 
 
K-pop and traditional performances will also take the stage. Boyband Ateez, P1Harmony, Xdinary Heroes, xikers, BoyNextDoor, girl group STAYC, rock band Jannabi, rapper Lee Young-ji and gayageum (Korean 12-string zither) player Yageum Yageum will perform at the concert. British singer-songwriter Henry Moodie will join the stage as a special guest.
 
A vlog capturing scenes of Seoul will be aired at the event. The video will cover national heritage sites such as Deoksu Palace and Sungnyemun Gate, Korean food spots like Gwangjang Market and Seoul landmarks including Han River and Namsan. 
 
The concert will be broadcast on KBS World and OTT streaming platform Wavve on Nov. 23 at 10:50 p.m.
