Superstar K alum Lim Kim is ending a one-year hiatus with her seventh EP “Ult” on Wednesday, according to the singer's agency New Entry.

It will be Kim's first drop since releasing her last digital single "Love Me Crazy," a collaboration with Jamie, the winner of Superstar K's first season.

The song title “Ult” is short for “Ultimate” and refers to the singer’s “final strike,” Kim's agency said.

The song was produced by No Identity and Ejae, known for their work on girl group Aespa’s EP “Drama.”

Kim first broke out onto the music scene in 2011 as a member of folk-pop duo Togeworl along with Denny Do and finished third in season three of Mnet’s singing competition Superstar K. She made her solo debut in 2013 with her first EP “A Voice.”

Her songs “Yellow” and “YO-SOUL” garnered attention last year after being used as dance cover titles on the second season of Mnet’s “Street Woman Fighter”(2023).
