K-pop artists Jungkook of BTS and boy band Stray Kids were named Male Artist and Group of the Year, respectively, at the 2024 People's Choice Awards.
 
Jungkook was awarded Male Artist of the Year, beating pop artists Bad Bunny, Drake, Jack Harlow, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Post Malone and The Weeknd.

He was also nominated for three other categories: Pop Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, and Collaboration Song of the Year for his first official solo single, “Seven” (2023), featuring U.S. rapper Latto.
 
Jungkook won Collaboration Song of the Year last year for Charlie Puth's “Left and Right” (2022), becoming the first K-pop solo artist to win at the People's Choice Awards.

The BTS singer is also nominated in four categories at the u2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards, which are set to take place on April 1: Best Music Video, Favorite Debut Album, K-pop Artist of the Year and K-pop Song of the Year.
 
Stray Kids won the Best Group/Duo award, beating Dan + Shay, Fuerza Regida, Grupo Frontera, Jonas Brothers, Old Dominion, Paramore and K-pop boy band Tomorrow X Together.
 
Stray Kids topped the Billboard 200 albums chart twice last year with its albums “5-Star” (2023) and “Rock-Star” (2023). 
 
The band is also up for K-pop Artist of the Year and K-pop Song of the Year at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
