New 'BTOB Company' label launched after band members makes deal with Cube Entertainment

BTOB members Seo Eun-kwang, Lee Min-hyuk, Lim Hyun-sik and Peniel will continue their activities under a new label called BTOB Company, the newly established label said Wednesday. 
 
BTOB Company is a subsidiary of DOD, a newborn agency that the four BTOB members signed their exclusive contracts with last December.
 
BTOB company recently obtained the rights to use the name BTOB after coming to an agreement with Cube Entertainment, the group's former agency.
 
“We will be supporting Seo Eun-kwang, Lee Min-hyuk, Lim Hyun-sik and Peniel alongside BTOB’s future group activities so they can be more active in a variety of fields,” the label said in a news release Wednesday.

BTOB debuted in March 2012 under Cube Entertainment and is known for such hit tracks as “Missing You” (2017), “Only One for Me” (2018) and “Beautiful Pain” (2018). Member Lee Chang-sub signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio last November while Yook Sung-jae signed with IWill Media in December.
 
A number of BTOB members are currently pursuing solo activities. Lim recently dropped his second solo EP, “The Young Man and the Deep Sea” on Feb. 16 under DOD while Seo has joined Mnet’s vocalist competition program “Build Up” as a judge. Lee Chang-sub is also active in musical theater and as the host of the YouTube variety show “Jengwaja.”
