ITZY kicks off 'Born to Be' world tour in Seoul

ITZY kicked off its 30-city world tour “Born to Be” in Seoul over the weekend with Saturday and Sunday concerts at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa District, southern Seoul. 
 
The girl group’s second world tour comes less than a year after the group's conclusion of its first world tour, “Checkmate,” back in April.

ITZY performed 25 total songs at the concert, including its latest lead track, “Untouchable,” and other hit songs such as “Dalla Dalla” (2019), “Wannabe” (2020), “Loco” (2021) and “Not Shy” (2020).
 
The group also showcased “Mr. Vampire,” “Swipe” (2021), “Gas Me UP” (2021), “Psychic Lover” (2023) and other fan-favorite B-side tracks.
 
The set list also included four solo stages: Yeji performed “Crown On My Head,” Ryujin performed “Run Away,” Chaereyoung performed “Mine” and Yuna performed “Yes But,” the four tracks that the members, respectively, wrote for their latest album, “Born to Be.”
 
Member Lia, who is currently taking a break from group activities to focus on her health, was seen watching the concert from the audience.
 
“I’m so proud to see our fans enjoying the concert featuring set lists that we’ve decided ourselves,” the members said in a statement. “Thank you to Midzy [ITZY’s fans] who’ve been supporting us since our debut. Thanks to you, we were able to have a fun-packed time.”
 
“We will do well in our upcoming world tour, so I hope you stay with us for the journey.”
 
Following the Seoul concerts, ITZY will perform in Bangkok, Thailand on March 16 followed by performances in Auckland; Sydney, Australia; and Melbourne, Australia. The tour will stop in Singapore on April 6 and then continue in Mexico, Chile, Britain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Japan, the United States and Canada, ending on Aug. 10 in Hong Kong.
