'Universe Ticket' girl group UNIS set to debut in March

Eight-member project girl group UNIS will make its debut on March 27.

UNIS, with its members Jin Hyeon-ju, Nana, Gehlee Dangca, Kotoko, Bang Yun-ha, Elisia, Oh Yoon-a and Lim Seo-won, was formed in January through the SBS girl group audition program “Universe Ticket.”

Teaser content will be released in the days to come.

The group’s name, UNIS, stands for “Universe is Started” and “U&I Story,” referring to the group’s desire to continue their own story after being formed through “Universe Ticket,” according to the girl group’s agency F&F Entertainment.

UNIS will be active for two and a half years under F&F Entertainment, which co-produced “Universe Ticket” with SBS. F&F Entertainment is a new entertainment agency established by fashion company F&F. UNIS will be F&F Entertainment's first girl group.
