Singer and actor Seo In-young has two papers in her hands — a contract with a new agency and a divorce file.

Seo signed with her new agency SW Entertainment after ending her previous contract with Think Entertainment in 2023.

Media reports also came Tuesday that Seo, a former girl group Jewelry member, has filed to the court for divorce against her husband of one year.

The singer announced her marriage to a non-celebrity businessman through her then-agency Think Entertainment in December 2022. She held the ceremony in February 2023, five months into the relationship.

This is not the first time divorce talks between the two have sprouted. Reports of a possible divorce emerged in September 2023, seven months after the couple held their wedding.

“Seo In-young’s divorce is a matter of her personal affairs, and we have nothing to comment on as of now,” Seo’s agency SW Entertainment told the local press. “We will release a statement after everything has settled down."

The singer is preparing for a new album, according to the agency.

Seo debuted in 2002 as a member of girl group Jewelry, best known for hits “Superstar” (2005) and “One More Time” (2008). She also had a successful television career on the first season of MBC’s reality show “We Got Married” and released solo hits like “Cinderella” (2008).
