Seventeen's '17 is Right Here' album preorders surpass 3 million copies

Preorders for Seventeen's upcoming greatest hits album, “17 is Right Here,” surpassed 3 million copies, a week before its official release on April 29.
 
A total of 3,087,613 copies of “17 is Right Here” were ordered as of Friday, according to the album's distributor YG Plus on Monday.

Seventeen's 10th EP, “FML,” was the globally bestselling album of 2023, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry's (IFPI) Global Album Chart. "FML" has since sold over 6.2 million copies, of which 4.6 million were preorders. The band's latest EP, “Seventeenth Heaven,” which was released in October last year, was the first album by a K-pop act to surpass 5 million copies in preorders. The EP remains at the top spot for preorders to date.
 
Seventeen had first announced the album release at the band’s “Follow Again” concerts at Incheon in late March. The addition of four new tracks to the album — lead track “Maestro” and tracks “Lalali,” “Spell” and “Youth Anthem” (translated) — were revealed at midnight on Thursday.  
 
“17 is Right Here” will consist of 33 tracks in total: 20 Korean album lead tracks, eight Japanese lead tracks whose lyrics were translated and sung in Korean, the four new songs and an instrumental version of the band's debut song, “Adore U” (2015).
 
Ahead of the album’s release, Seventeen will hold two concerts at the Seoul World Cup Stadium over the weekend as part of the band’s “Follow Again” encore tour. The band will continue its tour with performances in Osaka and Kanagawa, Japan, in May.
