A 27-year-old Korean woman won a free Tesla in the latest birthday event by U.S. YouTuber MrBeast, the most popular content creator on the platform with 260 million subscribers.
 
The woman, surnamed Kim, was selected as one of 26 followers of MrBeast who participated in his giveaway of 25 Tesla Model 3s and a Cybertruck in celebration of his 26th birthday.

Followers of MrBeast's Instagram from around the world aged of 18 or older participated by commenting on the post and tagging two friends.
 
The winners were announced on May 17, and Kim won a Model 3, which is valued at some 52 million won ($39,000) in Korea.
 
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is known for his elaborate challenges and big monetary giveaways. He gained a steep increase in the number of subscribers in Korea after shooting a real-life adaptation of the hit Netflix original series "Squid Game" (2021) last year.
 
Currently, he is the most-subscribed individual on YouTube and the second-most-subscribed channel after T-Series, India's largest music label.
 
Previously a promising high school baseball player, MrBeast has gained a reputation for going to extremes when making YouTube videos since he was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, which causes inflammation in the digestive tract.
