Students from the University of Cambridge's MBA program visited SK Telecom's headquarters to learn about the operator's AI businesses, the company announced Wednesday.

A total of 37 students and two professors visited SK Telecom's headquarters in Jung District, central Seoul, on Tuesday as part of the university's International Business Study Trip.

Trip participants visit different countries to learn about their global business.

The Cambridge students attended presentations about SK Telecom's AI and global business strategies. They also visited T.um, an exhibition center showcasing ways that the company applies AI, as well as information and communication technology, to various fields.

“Students of global MBA programs showing interest in SK Telecom's AI innovations was a valuable opportunity for us to assess our global competitiveness,” said Chung Suk-geun, head of the company's global AI tech division. “We will strengthen global partnerships through the Global Telco AI Alliance and find new values of the telecommunication industry through AI technologies.”
