Music streaming platform Aurora is holding an audition for aspiring vocalists for a chance to sing on web-based drama soundtracks from Aug. 13 until Sept. 8.

The selected vocalists will "officially debut" and be provided "global marketing both online and offline," according to Danal Entertainment, operator of Aurora. The entertainment company has previously provided soundtracks to JTBC drama “Reborn Rich” (2022) and SBS drama “One Dollar Lawyer” (2022).

The streaming service will promote the selected applicants through press releases, magazines and lyric videos.

To apply to the audition, applicants must first become a member of the service, which is currently available for free. Anyone over the age of 14 can apply. The applications are accepted through the service’s website.

“As soundtracks are emerging as a form of content in their own right, rather than just background music, we plan to provide more opportunities to artists by regularly hosting events, starting with this audition,” Lim You-yeop, CEO of Danal Entertainment, said Thursday in a press release.
