NewJeans' music video director Shin Woo-seok has accused current ADOR executives and HYBE of retaliating against him after he refused to make a music video for HYBE and wrote a petition in support of Min Hee-jin.

Shin made the accusations in a rebuttal to ADOR's statement posted on Tuesday.

"Whether this is because I wrote a petition, refused to produce a music video for HYBE or because you are trying to erase NewJeans, stop distorting the truth and manipulating public opinion using the press," Shin said on Instagram on Tuesday.

Shin, who is the head of the production company Dolphin Kidnapping and the director of NewJeans' music videos for "Ditto" and "ETA," checked the records regarding the agreement on NewJeans' music videos and confirmed that the companies had agreed to post the content on Dolphin Kidnapping’s YouTube channel.

According to Shin, ADOR also threatened legal action, including demanding compensation double the amount ADOR paid to create the videos if the videos were not taken down by Monday morning. However, the notice was only given on Sunday evening, he said.

The conflict between ADOR and Shin began on Monday when Shin announced that he had removed all content related to NewJeans from his social media and YouTube channel following a demand from ADOR.

In response, ADOR issued a statement on Tuesday, stating that "ADOR only requested that Dolphin Kidnapping take down the director's cut video," and that it was the advertisers who requested the removal of the videos. However, in his latest statement, Shin argued that it was ADOR, not the advertisers, who made the request.
