Singer Bada of the veteran girl group S.E.S has publicly shown her support for NewJeans, expressing that "her heart is really hurting" for the group amid the ongoing conflicts between ADOR's former CEO Min Hee-jin and HYBE.

“My heart is really hurting. I'm sure the fans of NewJeans are hurting as much as the members,” Bada said on Instagram Thursday, along with a video of NewJeans member Hanni.

In the video, Hanni is seen playing the guitar, with the caption, “a guitar song that Hanni wrote thinking about ‘Dae-pyu-nim.’” The term “Dae-pyu-nim” is a nickname Hanni used for Min.

“Can’t adults be wiser or more tender so that kids who are just starting to realize their dreams don't get hurt?” wrote the singer. “The lyrics and melody of this song, written by a young singer who has just realized her dream, touches my heart.”

“I pray for more wonderful miracles to happen to them.”

Bada previously publicly supported the girl group in April when HYBE accused Min of attempting a takeover and filed charges against her for breach of trust on April 25.

“Amid the complicated stories of adults, imagine how hard it must have been for these young ones, when just preparing an album is tough enough,” she said on Instagram with a photo of the girl group on April 30.

“I pray that you guys withstand this beautiful but fleeting time gracefully, grow wonderfully and find happiness in being true to yourselves. All Korean idol juniors are amazing. I support you all.”

Bada has also publicly showcased her friendship with former CEO Min Hee-jin. The two have been close since their time at SM Entertainment. Bada was signed to SM Entertainment until 2002, and Min worked there from 2002 onward.

ADOR removed Min from her position as CEO and appointed Kim Ju-young to the role on Aug. 27.

Although ADOR stated that Min would remain a staff member and retain her position on the company’s board of directors, Min’s legal team said on Aug. 30 that she would not accept the work delegation contract, arguing that it contained “toxic clauses” that could allow her to be “excluded from the job at any time for any reason.”

Min has not yet taken any legal measures against the decision.
