Planning a Chuseok getaway? Here are some hotels offering special deals over the holidays.

For those looking to indulge in some luxury this Chuseok, hotels are offering stays and seasonal food offerings at discounted prices for a limited time. From gourmet Chuseok-themed bites in Seoul to poolside concerts at sunset on Jeju Island, here are four offerings to fill the long weekend.
Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas
Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, launched an overnight package with Chuseok-themed desserts dubbed “Full Moon Getaway.”
Running from Sept. 12 to 20, it includes a one-night stay at its classic room or junior suite with two complimentary sikhae (rice drink), yakgwa (honey cookie) and rolled dried persimmon. It also allows entry to the hotel’s refurbished Metropolitan Fitness Club. Guests can opt to include breakfast in the package and will be able to enjoy the breakfast buffet at the hotel’s all day restaurant Grand Kitchen for 50,000 won ($37) for two people. Prices for the “Full Moon Getaway” package start at 349,000 won.

Parnas Hotel Jeju
Parnas Hotel Jeju is running the Jeju Autumn Retreat Package with seasonal foods throughout September. It includes a night’s stay at its deluxe, premier, junior or prestige suites, a box of handcrafted hangwa (Korean traditional cookies) and yakgwa, a two-person ticket to its breakfast buffet and 20,000 Parnas Hotel points that can be used across all Parnas properties. Club members staying at the suites will be provided with more benefits, such as La Cuvee Maison’s bath bomb and afternoon tea and breakfast at the buffet. Prices for the Jeju Autumn Retreat Package begin at 389,000 won.
The hotel is also offering a Chuseok-related menu at its all-day dining restaurant Confetti on Sept. 16 and 17. Dishes include jeon (fritters), namul (seasonal greens), japchae (stir-fried glass noodles) and braised beef. Desserts include songpyeon (a type of rice cake) and yakgwa.
At its infinity pool, Parnas Hotel Jeju is hosting nightly busking performances from Sept. 15 to 17. Overlooking the beach, the poolside event runs for one hour during sunset, from 6:40 p.m.
On its lobby floor lounge, the hotel will open the Parnas Chuseok Wine Market, showcasing some 40 different wines from Sept. 13 to 15. They have been vetted by the hotel’s sommeliers, according to Parnas Hotel Jeju. It will also run a roulette event on-site for guests to win gifts.

Fairmont Ambassador Seoul
Fairmont Ambassador Seoul in Yeongdeungpo District, western Seoul, is offering a Chuseok gift set with jeotgal (salted and fermented seafood) and oils. It is available through Sept. 15 upon reservation at the hotel’s lounge.
The gift set contains sea squirt jeotgal and cutlassfish tripe jeotgal from Ganggyeong Halmi Jeotgal, which is a family run brand of jeotgal from South Chungcheong, founded in 1967. It is said to maintain a traditional taste with the highest quality domestic ingredients and Shinan sea salt. The jeotgal can be eaten with rice or with meats like samgyeopsal (pork belly) in lieu of ssamjang (spicy fermented soybean paste).
The sesame oil and perilla oil in the set are from Chungju Oil House, which has been in business for 43 years now and has been making sesame and perilla oils from locally sourced ingredients, without any additives. The oils can be used to add a nutty flavor to dishes, including bibimbap, vegetables and noodles.

The Plaza Seoul
Chinese restaurant Dowon at The Plaza hotel in Jung District, central Seoul, launched its fall course dishes incorporating rare seasonal ingredients. Its seven-course meal includes Beijing-style pork, raw seafood marinated in perilla oil, dim sum, grilled mackerel topped with chive sauce and barley rice. The course is 215,000 won.
Oyster Bar & Dining, also at The Plaza, is an oyster specialty restaurant, and this season, it has launched two new fall menu items. The seafood platter is served with generous amounts of abalone and prawns that are especially tasty in the fall. The whole snow crab gratin made with savory cream sauce is served with a baguette side.
The seasonal menus at both restaurants run through Nov. 30.

AC Hotel Seoul Geumjeong
AC Hotel Seoul Geumjeong in Gunpo, Gyeonggi, launched two overnight packages this month for friends and couples, as well as families with kids.
Guests who book the For My Kids package will receive amenities and toys for children in the room, including a mini tent from European kids brand Viviandi and kid-friendly shampoo and lotion from premium kids beauty brand I'm Not A Baby The hotel said it will also provide gowns and slippers specially tailored for children.
The standard guest count for the package is two adults and one child. Complimentary breakfast and access to the inifinity pool is included as well.
The Falling in Fall package is for guests looking to enjoy the fall scenery more privately, according to the hotel. It includes a bottle of pinot noir, cheese platter, late check-out at 2 p.m. and free access to the hotel's infinity pool.
Both packages run through Nov. 30.
