Yeungnam University hosted the YU Global Culture Festival on Thursday, providing international students with a platform to share their cultures.

The event, organized by the university's international student recruitment support group and the Korea Environment Corporation, took place at the university’s campus in Gyeongsan, North Gyeongsang.

Approximately 1,000 participants attended, including members of the university's foreign student council from countries such as China, Vietnam, Mongolia and Uzbekistan, along with international students from 28 nations enrolled at the university’s Park Chung Hee School of Policy and Saemaul.

Students set up booths to showcase their cultures, offering opportunities to experience traditional clothing and cuisine from their home countries. Informational booths, including those offering employment and visa counseling, were also available.

A flea market was held on the sidelines, with proceeds donated to the university's social responsibility group.
