‘School Nurse’ heading to NetflixThe book “School Nurse, An Eun-yeong,” written by author Chung Se-rang, will be produced as a Netflix series starring actor Jung Yu-mi as the lead character.
The book is a comedy-fantasy novel that features the story of An Eun-yeong, a school nurse who has the supernatural ability to chase after ghosts.
She led a normal life until she moved to a new high school where she faces mysterious incidents. There, she becomes an exorcist in order to solve cases.
The series will be directed by Lee Kyoung-mi, known for her previous films “Crush and Blush” (2008) and “The Truth Beneath” (2016), while Jung, popular for her leading roles in films “Silenced” (2011), “Train to Busan” (2016) and “Psychokinesis” (2017), will play the role of An.
Author Chung’s other novels include “The Only One on Earth” (2012), “Jae-in, Jae-uk and Jae-hun” (2014) and “Let’s Meet at the Rooftop” (2018).
