Rihanna coming to Seoul for event

Rihanna will be coming to Korea to give a talk before the local launch of her cosmetic brand Fenty Beauty in September, the company announced on Tuesday.

Rihanna, who developed the cosmetics brand in 2017 in partnership with luxury conglomerate LVMH’s incubator Kendo, will be flying to Seoul to speak at the “Fenty Beauty Artistry and Beauty Talk with Rihanna” on Sept. 17 at the Lotte Tower’s Super Plex G Cinema in southern Seoul.

Joining Rihanna will be makeup artists Priscilla Ono and Hector Espinal.

This will be the second time that the “Fenty Beauty Artistry and Beauty Talk with Rihanna” is being held. The event aims to “give professional beauty tips and cosmetic advice to women in Korea.”

This is the singer’s first time to visit Korea since February 2010, when she came to Korea to promote an album.

Tickets for September’s event go on sale today at 9 a.m. through ticket seller Interpark’s website.
