BoA the right ‘Match’ for gaming film

Singer BoA, who has been focusing on expanding her career in acting, has confirmed her role in a new movie, tentatively named “Big Match.”

The movie has been gaining attention as actor Lee Jung-jae of “The Thieves” and Shin Ha-gyun of “Joint Security Area” have already confirmed their roles for it.

The movie is an action film about a game planner who designs games for the top 0.1 percent of the population in Korea only.

When the planner gets into trouble, his brother becomes a part of the game to save him.

BoA will play a mysterious woman named Soo-kyung, who is known for her poker face.

It has been said that the production crew monitored the singer’s other roles, then decided that she was right person to play the character.

The production team will start filming later this month, and the movie is scheduled to be released in the second half of next year.
