Uhm Jung-hwa gets sexier than ever

“The actual time for shooting was much longer than what’s shown on the screen,” said Uhm. “I was aware that some sex scenes are needed, as the title of the film shows. But it’s true that I felt kind of overwhelmed, so I talked with the director to adjust the level.”
In the movie, which was previously titled “Laws of Pleasure” in English, Uhm plays a successful career woman (sometimes derided as “miss gold” in Korean) who falls in love with a younger man.
The movie also stars one of Korea’s most respected actresses, Moon So-ri, who plays a provocative housewife, and Jo Min-soo, who rose to fame in Kim Ki-duk’s award-winning film “Pieta” and plays a single mom who tries to keep her love life secret from her daughter.
Directed by Kwon Chil-in, who directed such relationship-based hits as “Hellcats” (2007) and “Singles” (2004), “Venus Talk” has become hotly anticipated for its provocative and humorous style, like the popular American TV series “Sex and the City.”
The movie is set to open Feb. 13.
