Korea won another gold medal in shooting, stealing the show in the men’s 25-meter rapid-fire pistol yesterday. In the final at the Ongnyeon International Shooting Range, Team Korea, consisting of Jang Dae-kyu, Kim Jun-hong and Song Jong-ho shot a total of 1,747 points while China won silver with a score of 1,746 points, followed by Vietnam with 1,704 points.
Earlier in the day, Korea claimed a gold medal in the women’s 50-meter rifle prone team event and a bronze medal in the individual event.
Kim Ye-ji won a gold medal in rowing in the women’s single scull yesterday, finishing the 2-kilometer race in 8:46:52 seconds to beat Lee Ka Man of Hong Kong by 13.39 seconds. Korea also won three silver medals in rowing yesterday.
