Korea has its best-ever Worlds in Copenhagen

Reigning Olympic champion Ki Bo-bae, 27, won two gold medals at the 2015 World Archery Championship in Copenhagen on Sunday.
In the women’s recurve final, Ki beat Lin Shih-Chia of Chinese Taipei in 7-3 (29-25, 27-26, 26-27, 29-29, 29-28) to win her first individual gold medal at the Worlds. She also won the mixed team event with Ku Bon-chan, also against Chinese Taipei.
Choi Mi-sun won the bronze medal in women’s recurve.
For the men, Kim Woo-jin beat Rick van der Ven from the Netherlands 6-2 (28-27, 29-28, 27-27, 30-30) to reclaim his title for the first time since 2011. The men’s team, comprised of Kim, Ku and Oh Jin-hyek, also won the gold medal against Italy.
Korea finished the event with six gold medals and three bronze medals, marking its best performance in the Worlds.
In compound archery, Korea won two gold medals and one bronze medal.
