SM Entertainment to host online concert on New Year's Day

SM Entertainment, home to many popular K-pop acts like Red Velvet, NCT, Girls’ Generation, TVXQ and Super Junior, will hold a free online concert for global fans on New Year’s day.

From 1 p.m. on Jan. 1, the agency will air “SMTOWN LIVE ‘Culture Humanity’” through many different online channels including Naver V Live, YouTube and Facebook.

SM Entertainment said on Monday that this is a special event to deliver hope to many who are suffering from the Covid-19 pandemic all across the world.

Many singers with the agency will take part in the the event such as TVXQ, Super Junior, Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation, Taemin of SHINee, Baekhyun and Kai of Exo, Red Velvet, NCT, SuperM and aespa.
