YG unveils title of lead track on Rosé’s upcoming solo album

The lead track of Rosé's first solo album "R" will be titled "On The Ground," her agency YG Entertainment announced on Friday with a poster.
The poster features Rosé staring in mid-air against a black background, wearing a white garment covered in feathers - a different look to the first teaser image released earlier this week.
The message of her new album will be told through "a cinematic image" and "music that will resonate with listeners," the agency said.
"The title of the album 'R' symbolizes not only the first letter of Rosé's name, but also a new beginning for her as a solo artist," according to YG.
“The filming of the music video for Rosé’s lead track has been completed and since its production cost was one of the highest, we are doing our best in post-production to perfect it.”
Rosé is the second Blackpink member to release her own solo music, following Jennie and her hit track "Solo" (2018).
Blackpink debuted in 2016 and has dropped multiple hits such as Playing with Fire” (2016), “Forever Young” (2018), and “Lovesick Girls” (2020).
The album will drop on March 12 at 2 p.m.
