BTS’s music video for “I NEED U” (2015) surpassed 100 million views on YouTube according to Big Hit Entertainment on Tuesday.
 
According to the agency, the original version of the music video for “I NEED U” surpassed 100 million views on YouTube around 6 p.m. on Monday. This makes it BTS’s 30th music video to garner over 100 million views, once again breaking the band’s own record.
 
“I NEED U” is the lead track of BTS’s third mini album “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1” released in 2015.
 
The music video was uploaded in May 2015 and is R-rated due to scenes of fighting and arson.  
 
The edited version of the music video for “I NEED U” which was also uploaded in 2015 is two minutes shorter than the original version and also currently has more than 200 million views.
 
Other music videos by BTS that have passed the 100-million-view mark include “DNA” (2017) with 1.2 billion views, “Boy With Luv” (2019) with 1.1 billion and “Dynamite” (2020) with 900 million.
 
BTS debuted in 2013 with the song “No More Dream” and released hits such as “Fire” (2016), “Blood, Sweat & Tears” (2016), “DNA” and “IDOL” (2018). Its 2020 English song “Dynamite” made the band the first K-pop act to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart and be nominated for a Grammy Award. Later, its 2020 song “Life Goes On” became the first Korean-language song to top the Billboard Hot 100.
