BTS's Japan album 'BTS, the Best' sells over 1 million on first day
BTS released an album titled “BTS, the Best” in Japan on Wednesday.
The album includes 23 songs that the group has released over the past four years including, “Dynamite” (2020), “Film Out” (2021), “Your Eyes Tell” (2020), “Crystal Snow” (2018), “Fake Love” (2018), “Idol” (2018), “MIC Drop” (2017) and “On” (2020).
By the end of the morning of the release, over 1.1 million copies had already been sold.
“Film Out,” which came out in April to tease the upcoming release of the “BTS, the Best” album, sat at the top of Japanese online music outlet Oricon’s daily digital single chart for the two consecutive days. It also got on to the top place for the weekly streaming chart.
The song was made through a collaboration with Japanese rock band Back Number, and BTS's Jungkook contributed his talents to compose the music. It is also the main soundtrack for Japanese film “Signal.”
